Just some notes from our social media girly.

Departing Melbourne

Our tour to Bali starts with a 2:45am wake-up, and like all good trips, there's obviously some drama along the way.

Between the three of us lugging seven bags, the trek is on! From overweight luggage, to being stuck at the very back of the plane, to a medical emergency onboard – we see it all!

Touch down in Bali, and we're welcomed with a perfectly cold Bintang by our man on the ground, Made.

It's Friday afternoon, so we devote the rest of the day to unpack and settle in ... we've got a HUGE week ahead of us.

It's here that I assign our team a special job for the weekend: everyone is given one specific colour, and anything they see in this colour, they're to take a snap. Our founder Michele, takes this assignment very seriously, which we love!

Monday rolls around, time to get to work. We've strategically packed every suitcase back in Melbourne (we're an organised bunch), so that upon arrival, we know what needs doing. Our "brief" 35-page inspo document also promises to come in handy.

For this summer campaign shoot, we've booked three spectacular villas, each located in the village of Canggu.

Day #1

Here we meet our extended team, and despite that feeling of overwhelm from a first day of a photo shoot, we walk into a space that promises to deliver an incredible campaign.

This super-chic, earthy villa is an entertainer's dream, and we're here to shoot seven bed linen ensembles. Included is our first in-pool shoot, plus three accessory scenes.

Stoked with the outcome, it's now time for home, swim, dinner, and bed: we're ready for day two!

Day #2

With first-day jitters behind us, it's straight to work.

Sadly, the weather doesn't agree with our plans – it rains for most of the day. This space is also smaller than expected, so we work smarter. A different vibe to the day before, we play on the pink-and-green aesthetic of this location, so with yellows, blues, pinks and greens in our bed linen palettes, this is our focus.

Here's our hero set – we're obsessed.

Day #3

It's a run to the finish line!

This location feels like a Palm Springs film set: the moment we walk in, it's utter perfection, and the temperature's H-O-T ... Claire and I take an afternoon swim to cool off.

With a crazy-busy, half-day of shooting behind us, our stunning model Deven arrives to showcase our super-fun, new lounge pieces – so amazing to finally see them on!

Next up to shoot, some truly special items you'll view online very soon: just think kitchen and dining (and stay tuned).

This day ends on a high, so off we go for a celebratory dinner at Mama San Bali, to reminisce about our incredible three days. It's been the work trip of our dreams, and we couldn't feel happier – even if Bali belly knocked a few of us out!
