How often should I wash my bed linen?

Bed linen is best laundered every 1-2 weeks. Dust, dead skin and bacteria build-up quickly, especially if you run hot as you sleep. The more you wash, the fresher you'll feel. Shop bedroom linen.

Towels, rotate 2-3 per week. This allows for complete drying between laundering, and also reduces that musky odour from not drying properly. Shop towels.

How should I store my towels between showers?

Ensure your towels receive as much air-flow as possible, and always use a drying rack.

Try to pop your towels in sunshine whenever the weather permits, doing so helps to kill any bacteria build-up between washes.

How do I best preserve my bed linen?

Avoid harsh detergents and fabric softeners, and be mindful to observe washing instructions.

Being a long-running textile business, we've tried and tested numerous laundering techniques, so we provide very specific instructions for all fabrications.

What's the best fabrication to sleep on?

Personal preference varies, but always consider the below when purchasing new threads.

Are you a hot sleeper? Pure linen and bamboo are superb.

Sleep cold at night? Brushed cotton keeps you incredibly cosy.

Love a silky, soft finish? Cotton sateen and again, bamboo, offer this.

Is a cool, crisp feel your jam? Opt for cotton percale.

How do I keep my sheets from pilling?

Pilling, also known as "fluffing" or "balling", may occur with frequent use of certain fabrics – much like wearing your favourite t-shirt every single day.

Rotate at least two sheets for longevity, and to give each set a break.

Above all, purchasing quality textiles is crucial.
